I am an ENFP. I’m also a brand builder, a people person and a senior-level art director and multidisciplinary designer. I have a passion for digging deep and understanding motives, developing strategy, direction and visual design. l also root for healthy team spirit, collaboration, storytelling and play. From non-profits and start-ups to global organizations, I create effective and thoughtful design strategies and principles that solve a problem.

STORY

I graduated from the Art Institute of Charlotte, NC with a degree in Graphic Design. Even after completing many courses in Design History, Art History, Color Theory, Package Design, Figure Drawing, Printmaking, Typography, Photography and Visual Identity, I’m still learning. It’s everywhere and forevermore. I am excited about mission driven work, athletics, music, food & beverage, nature, pattern, deliciously curved letters and heartfelt words.

TIDBITS

I've been working as a designer since 2005, but a creative by heart since age 7. I began working independently in 2012 and registered the business as Studio Ox, LLC in the state of Oregon. After birthing that business, I birthed an amazing son in 2017. Then, the pandemic. Life is full of interesting challenges and opportunities. My extraverted personality, positive attitude, and flexible mindset enable me to meet them head on and pivot when needed.

RECENT Accomplishments

After many years of living in Portland, I made it to Crater Lake’s bike holiday, Ride The Rim, 2024. I biked around the lake, 33 miles, with max elevation at 7,678 ft. I went into the ride with a few unknowns and I was ecstatic to close the loop on that beautiful circle with a successful journey.
